WSA Board Postions
The
Westlake Soccer Association recently approved a new slate of Board members effective December 1, 2008.
President - Michael Della Vella Rec Commissioner - Rick Cusick
Vice President - Don Bain Boys Commissioner - Mark Fusco
Treasurer - Chris Brizes Girls Commissioner - Traci Skok
Secretary - Kristen Ferrel

OYSAN Conference November 15, 2008 - At the 2008 OYSAN Awards luncheon the following individuals and groups were recognized.
The Everest U17 Boys were recognized as "2008 US Youth Soccer National Championship Fair Play Award Winner" in the U17 Boys Division. Head Coach John Fenix and Asst. Coach Dan O'Brien were also recognized.
John Fenix was named the "Boys Competitive Coach of the Year" winner.
The Westlake Soccer Girls were named the "2008 Winners of the OYSAN Community Cup for the Most Points Accumulated at the OYSAN State Cup in Memory of Sam Bothwell"
Dan O'Brien was given the "2008 OYSAN Executive Director Service Award"

What a wonderful fall season we had! The weather was great and the kids had a blast. We were very lucky with the late start to the fall season to have such great weather. Big thank you to all the volunteers and coaches who helped with the fall season. Teams from fall 08 will stay together for spring 09. All players who registered for fall 08 are registered for the spring 09 season, no need to register again. We will open registration January 1st for add on players for the spring season, tell you friends who did not play this fall. Spring 09 season will start around April 1st, details will be posted here. Have a wonderful off season and see you in the spring.
